What a way to close out the year! Amanda playing for the Thai Dragons has done something special. For the second month running, she’s been named Player of the Month, making her officially TWICE A WINNER.
After climbing six places in November, Amanda went even bigger in December, rising seven places in the Player Rankings. That surge takes her up to 19th overall, now just one place behind her Thai Dragons team-mate Philco. The momentum is real, and it’s hard to ignore.
Winning Player of the Month in back-to-back months is rare. In fact, it’s only happened once before since the Fyzuntu International League began in 2019. That honour belonged to George of the UK Rhinos in December 2022. Amanda has now joined that exclusive club and, with this form, she’s put herself in a strong position to challenge for Player of the 2025/26 season.
There was plenty happening elsewhere in the league too.
Who Burns Cakes moved up two places to take over as league leaders, while the Cambridge Capybaras were the biggest movers of the month, jumping four places into 9th. At the other end of the table, it was a tough December for the Shrewsbury based Phoenix Drivers, who slid six places to bring up the rear.

Among the players, Denise of Who Burns Cakes climbed to the top spot overall. The chasing pack tightened as well, with Marine Girl (Albion Eagles), Marky and Big D (Saxon Spears) all moving up one position into the top four. Meanwhile, it was a month to forget for Terry of the Phoenix Drivers, who failed to score a single point and dropped to 24th place. A fresh month brings a fresh chance, and there’s nowhere to go but up for Terry.

December’s Bullseye competition saw June (Cider Bruins), George (UK Rhinos) and Pam (Sharon Aces) all boost their potential share of any future prize with strong improvements.

In the Team Target competition, the UK All-Stars made a big push, adding five points and moving to within touching distance of the top three: the UK Rhinos, Albion Eagles, and the Towcester Senators. Solid gains were also picked up by the Thai Dragons, Cambridge Capybaras, and Phoenix Drivers, all adding more than a single point.

December 2025 delivered drama, movement, and history. With Amanda leading the charge and the tables tightening across the board, the months ahead are shaping up to be even more exciting.
To finish, we wish all our players and supporters a very happy 2026 and a successful year ahead in every way. Thank you all for your continued passion, energy, and very enthusiastic support.

There’s always fun in Fyzintu!
