January was a flawless month for the Thai Dragons, who hit the top spot and dominated the Fyzuntu International League with an unbeaten run of 15 consecutive wins! Their outstanding performance catapulted them to the top of the league table, securing a 35-point lead over the rising Who Burns Cakes team, led by Paul and Denise, who climbed three places to second position.
At the other end of the standings, Düsseldorf Diamanten and USA Large Team continue to struggle, but with five months remaining in the season, there’s still time for a turnaround. In this league as fortunes can shift in an instant!

Players’ Rankings Update
In a fascinating twist, the top two positions in the Players’ Rankings are held by players from teams that are ranked in reverse order in the league standings:
– Denise (Who Burns Cakes) now leads the rankings, capping off an exceptional month.
– Philco (Thai Dragons), December’s Player of the Month, continued his strong form by climbing another five places to secure second place.

Player of the Month:
Congratulations to Tanawat from the Bangkok Trumpeters, January’s Player of the Month! Tanawat made a significant leap in the rankings, climbing eight places to cement his status as one of the league’s top performers. Interestingly, he also won Player of the Month in January 2023**, making this an incredible déjà vu moment in Fyzuntu history!
Other notable movers in January were:
– Marinegirl (Albion Eagles)– up seven places
– Marky (Saxon Spears) – up seven places
– EmilyBelle (UK All Stars) – up six places.
Fantastic progress all around—who will be next to rise brilliantly up the ranks?

Bullseye Competition Results
The Bullseye Competition saw another incredibly close finish! Matsy (Welsh Longbows) was just one point away from the 161-point target, securing a 7% share in potential prize money. The war chest now stands at an impressive £345, making the next round even more enticing!
Can anyone hit the perfect Bullseye next month? We can’t wait to find out!
And Finally…
A special shoutout to the UK All Stars and the Saxon Spears, who will be embarking on a tour in the Land of the Northern Lights this February. We wish them safe travels and look forward to seeing how their time on tour shapes their performances in the league!
